Well, it’s been a while since anything has happened with my $1.25 check. As a matter of fact, I forgot about it. But of course it’s not done yet because yes, you guessed it, they sent more paperwork! So, here I go again off to the bank during the lunch hour. By now I know the drill and this should go relatively smoothly. So far, my cost for this check is approximately $58 plus countless hours of personal time. Why do I have to take care of this again? Oh yes, because it won’t just go away, it has to be completed. Maybe if I conveniently forget to finish, my kids can hassle with it when I’m gone. Hum, there’s a thought.
